So far one thousand 997 are recorded confirmed cases of influenza , of which, 56% is AH3N2, 30% AH1N1, 11% B and 3% another type of virus.

In an interview for GetQoralHealth, Cuauhtémoc Ruiz Matus, general director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, explains that any influenza virus causes deaths, depending on whether the attention is timely or not, and the quality of the defense system of the patient's organism.

From October to date, 79 deaths are confirmed; 70% are for AH1N1, 18% for H3N2 and 9% for B.
