Beliefs that prevent achieving goals

It is very common that we give up trying to fulfill our goals or dreams , not because others are expecting many things from us, but because we expect too much from ourselves, which can lead to stagnation in our personal or professional growth.

Stress, excessive Pressure and frustration tend to occur when the things we want come into conflict with those we know are the most correct, even when they take us away from our objectives .

As a result, they can originate in the expectations external, codes or moral rules that are internalized in ourselves and that prevent us from realizing some beliefs or activities that are not effective or productive.

These internal rules even go so far as to guide the way we spend our money , we organize our free time , as well as the perception we have of our careers and relationships .

Therefore, a certain type of beliefs can actually become an obstacle that will prevent, sooner or later, perform as a human being integrally. Among the most frequent are the following:

1. I must solve the problems on my own. Not doing it is weak, needy or means that I am incapable.2. I must sacrifice my needs to others. When the burden of norms or duties It is too heavy, the expectation itself wears and overwhelms you. It is advisable that you choose, for example, any of these beliefs that you formulate that is interfering with your growth and advancement, and seeks to let it go.

Try to be a more flexible person with yourself and begin to replace those negative words or that imply a conditioning, for others that are positive, that imply a possibility or that they imply a reinforcement beneficial.
