1. Vitamin A. It belongs to the group of retinoids; It is soluble in fat. It is found in orange foods such as carrots or pumpkins. Experts recommend a daily dose of 900 to 3000 micrograms of vitamin A.
An overdose of vitamin A can cause a condition known as hypervitaminosis A, which can make people turn orange. Individuals who lack vitamin A may suffer from night blindness.
2. Vitamin B1 or Thiamine. It is a water-soluble vitamin that is part of the group B-vitamin complex. Its absence or presence less than 1.2 milligrams a day, causes a disease called beriberi .
3. Riboflavin or Vitamin B2 . It is another member of the B-complex group and soluble in water. Like the rest of the B vitamins, its main function is the protection of the immune system.
4. Niacin or Vitamin B3. Soluble in water increases the immune system. This is indispensable in the growth of young children. The admissible daily dose of vitamin B3 is 16 up to 35 milligrams; below this range, pellagra (rough skin) may appear.
