Integral muffins for Halloween

The celebration of the Day of the Dead or Halloween is approaching, so the sweet temptations are the order of the day, but if you want to take care of your figure and enjoy a delicious snack, we present this muffin recipe low in calories.

We start with a basic recipe for chocolate muffins and decorate them in the form of a cobweb, so this recipe will only take 30 minutes to complete and you will enjoy the benefits of the bitter chocolate for your health, as it improves blood circulation:
 

Ingredients (12 servings)

1/2 cup of milk
1 1/2 cups wholemeal flour
1 pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
120 g of margarine without melted salt
1/2 cup of bitter cocoa
1/2 cup of sugar substitute
1 package of low fat white chocolate
1 packet of bitter chocolate
 

preparation: 10 minutes, cooking time: 20 minutes / sec

1. Preheat the oven to 200 C (moderate-strong). Sprinkle a mold of 12 muffins with spam or a little melted margarine. Cut it out Then strain the flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt, all together in a bowl. Add the sugar.

2. In another bowl, lightly beat eggs, then milk, orange juice, melted margarine and vanilla essence. Add everything slowly to the bowl of the flour and mix until all the ingredients have been well integrated.

3. Fill the muffin molds to 2/3 of the total and put in the oven for 20 minutes, until golden brown and firm to the touch.

4. Leave to cool for 5 minutes before removing the muffins from the mold, and then let them rest until they are completely cooled.

5. Melt the white chocolate and cover the muffins until the cover is slightly set. Now melt the dark chocolate and begins to make concentric circles of the edge inwards. Then, with a toothpick, start to draw the design of the web until you complete the figure and go.
