Increases risk of cancer in morning smokers

The smokers who light their first cigarette shortly after waking up are more likely to develop a lung cancer , than those who usually wait more than an hour.

The research published in the medical journal Cancer, of the American Cancer Society, explain that this is because they are more addicted to tobacco , regardless of how much they smoke or how long they have been smoking.

They observed that the risk of developing Cancer It was almost twice as much in those who smoked a cigar during the first 30 minutes after getting up, than those who waited 1 hour.

Everything indicates that the smokers after rising they tend to have a higher level of metabolites of tobacco smoke in the body, which suggests that they are exposed to higher levels of it and therefore more exposed to this disease.

This discovery will allow better identification of people who are at greater risk and can help to design methods tofight the habit and help people to give up smoking or not to start doing it.

Do not forget that the best strategy to prevent any of these types of cancer is, do not smoke!
