What are smoothies?

Why is it healthy to drink smoothies? By drinking smoothies and juices, you are squeezing all the benefits of fruits and vegetables, at the same time you transform the cells of your body. In addition, they provide essential nutrients, minerals and antioxidants in a single glass, easy to digest and with no time to waste.

 

What are smoothies?

A smoothie is a beverage that concentrates several nutrients and can replace whole breakfasts or snacks. It must include 6 ingredients to be considered as such, and not as a hypercaloric drink that can make us gain weight.

Following the balancing rule, all breakfast, lunch or dinner must contain: protein or products of vegetable origin; carbohydrate or cereal, fruit and vegetables.

However, in the case of smoothies, the idea is to deprive or abstain the body from carbohydrates, which are the cause of increased anxiety or gluttony. That is why the carbohydrate will be replaced by vegetable fat such as chia, linseed, hemp oil, coconut oil, walnuts, almonds, etc.

The other ingredients should be limited to no more than two servings and the fruit no more than one.
