Take your precautions

Influenza, bronchitis, tonsillitis and tonsillitis are the most frequent respiratory diseases at this time of year.

Viruses enter through the nose or mouth, and travel to the throat, bronchi, and lungs. They are transmitted by direct contact, through the hand or kiss, as well as sneezing.

Take your precautions

The National Institute of Respiratory Diseases (INER) offers you the following recommendations to avoid getting sick. Take note!

Wrap up very well (jacket, scarves, hat, gloves)

Take a healthy and balanced diet, rich in vitamin C

Wash your hands frequently

Avoid touching your face with dirty hands, because the virus adheres indirectly.

Avoid alcoholic beverages and tobacco.

People who have a respiratory illness are recommended:

  • Drink plenty of fluids
  • Avoid self-medication
  • Keep the airway free of secretions
  • Perform nasal cleansing with spray products that have a gentle application
  • Continue the usual feeding
  • Go to the doctor in case of any discomfort
  • Take care of your health in this winter season.
