More than 1,500 people, both men and women, came together to recognize the values ​​that breast cancer patients and family members acquire day after day to overcome the disease, during the "Pink Race" organized by Reebok and Liverpool .

In the first five-kilometer race with obstacles in the fight against breast cancer, held in the vicinity of the Perisur Shopping Center, values ​​such as perseverance, tenacity and passion were highlighted.

The participants showed their enthusiasm and spirit of running for a good cause by avoiding the 15 obstacles that were presented during the five kilometers of the race, which represented the difficulties of a disease such as cancer.

To prevent injuries among participants and motivate them, Giovanna Mondragón, Reebok Global Master Trainer, organized a warm-up phase through a fit dance routine.

Jorge Matute, communication manager of Reebok, points out that for the firm, "fitness running is that side of the race where you no longer just run to reach a goal, but you go through different obstacles during the course, making the effort more fun."

A percentage of the entries to the race will be donated to the "ASBIS Foundation, women and family", civil association, founded in 2001, dedicated for several years to provide health services to prevent cancer and improve the quality of life of the women.

The race was attended by different personalities such as the rowers Analycia Ramírez and Patrick Loliger; the television conductors Karen Manzano, Tania Rincón, Vielka Valenzuela and Mariazel Olle; the actors: Adrián Rubio, Adriana Llabres, Paulina Soto, Ricardo Margaleff, Sergi Bittán, José Manuel Sampedro, Perla Encinas, Ferdinando Valencia and Nuestra Belleza Mundo México 2004, Dafne Molina.
