The doctor Carel Le Roux, consultant in metabolic medicine at the Imperial College of Londres, notes that people who eat too much fruit run the risk of developing obesity, decay and diabetes.

These diseases are not the only problem when consuming fruits in excess since the high intake of fructose (fruit sugar) for more than a week increases triglyceride levels.
