No Exit!

Life is full of setbacks and although most of us observe them with fear and negativity, they can be tools that help us in our personal improvement and growth; it only depends on the way you have to solve the problems.

Sometimes you can think that there are no alternatives or that there is no way forward, but the professor in psychology of University of Chicago, Sian Beilock , says that to get out of the problems of life you must be creative and allow yourself to see things from another perspective.

No Exit!

Before you decide that there is no way out, be it your emotional, professional or family problems, GetQoralHealth , offers you the following tricks that will help you solve your problems:

1. Pretend that the problem is not so important to you . Mentally distance yourself from the question, imagine that it is not yours or that there is more time to solve it. According to Art Markman, professor of psychology at the University of Texas, this helps make the picture wider. Open your mind to approaches that you might have missed or forgotten.

2. Draw a picture of the dilemma. Embedding schedules, diagrams or drawings can help you see the problem more physically and in front of you. Markman points out that this allows you to see all the details surrounding a problem, which makes it easier to find the route to solve.

3. A break from so much thinking. Go running, take a bath, read a little. Get away a bit from your thoughts. Allow your mind to work in the background, gathering pieces of information about the problem while keeping your mind relaxed. This is suggested Tim Hurson, author of Thinking Better: A guide for Productive Thinking Innovation.

4. Find the time when you are more relaxed or your mind is fresh. Beilock points out that when you feel more relaxed you have a greater capacity to take better solutions to problems.

5. Move. Change of environment, example go to a cafeteria or restaurant, park. A change in the environment may be just what you need to open your mind. Since the place where the problem occurs can generate negative thoughts.

It is important to learn to solve the problems of life, but also to learn from the experiences that each one leaves us. Everything is part of improving ourselves and growing.
