Why is lint formed on the navel?

Shaving the abdominal area not only gives you an aesthetic appearance, it also helps you avoid the accumulation of the call "navel fluff "But you know why is there waste in the belly button?

According to an investigation of the University of Sydney , Australia, led by Karl Kruszelnicki , the fragments are the product of a combination of dust, dead skin, grease and sweat present in the body.

Where does it come from?

The study that earned Karl the Nobel Prize , adds that the wear of the clothes that we frequently use, such as jeans and t-shirts of similar tones, give the navel fluff the bluish or grayish color that it regularly presents.

The friction of the hair with the garments affects the accumulation of more particles, and the amount depends on the type of clothing, especially if it is cotton.

A study of Georg Stinhauser , published in Journal Medical Hypotheses , reveals that when examined, the lint shows a significant amount of nitrogen and sulfur due to sweat and dead skin.

How to avoid it?

1. Wear old clothes .  New garments tend to disperse more fibers that can enter that cavity.

2. Piercings. Particularly the rings are effective for sweeping the fibers before they stay.

3. Zero hair. Shave the region umbilical It will result in a lint-free navel, but only until the hair grows back.

Men of mature age and with greater hairiness are more likely to save more waste, especially if they gained weight recently.
