Having a healthy mouth away from oral cancer risks

Those people who smoke or chew tobacco have a greater predisposition to develop oral cancer as they get older. Keeping a healthy mouth is more important than ever for older adults, most people between the ages of 55 and 64 retain some or all of their teeth natural

In early stages, oral cancer can be difficult to detect, it is advisable to give up tobacco and carry out regular monitoring for cancer detection, thus protecting oral health and general health.

Being an older adult does not mean giving up a nice smile. Currently there are many cosmetic dental treatments that are appropriate for mature teeth such as dental implants and dentures, which are functional as well as aesthetically satisfactory for those who experience tooth loss.
