5 exercises vs work stress

Do you feel stressed at work and all you think is your time of departure? Try to relax to prevent the stress labor impact on your productivity and your health.

According to Fitness System coach, Carlos Velázquez , a good technique to relax the muscles and clear your mind after spending a lot of time sitting, is to suspend your work for five minutes to perform some exercises or quick stretches such as the following:

1.- Elongations: Stand up and stretch your arms over your head. Lean back and let your spine form a kind of arch. Return to the starting position. This will help you to effectively eliminate the stress labor accumulated in the back.

2.- Relaxed neck: Forget about work stress with this exercise. Stand up and open your legs at the height of your shoulders. Place your hands on your waist and move your head to the front and back, as if to say yes. Make eight repetitions (four on each side)

3.- Facelifts: Keep the posture of the previous exercise, but now move your head from one side to another. You can use your hands to improve the stretch. Make eight repetitions (four on each side)

4.- Lateral flexion: Repeat the position of the previous exercise and flex your neck to the right and then to the left. Use your hands to increase the stretch. It will help you eliminate all tension or stress accumulated labor in the back, trapezius and neck. Hold this position for 10 seconds on each side.

5.- Total stretch: Stand up and stretch your arms over your head. Tilt your body to the right and let your left hand slide over your right arm. Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side. This posture eliminates tension in the waist, lower back and lumbar muscles.

Carlos Velázquez recommends you to do these exercises against work stress as many times as necessary or until you feel well-being and relaxation in your body.
