Utility of anaerobic exercises

These are considered more intense. The practice of this type of sport is common in athletes, who perform resistance exercises, in order to perform more and increase the volume of their muscle mass.

The muscles that are trained in this type of exercise develop differently from aerobic exercise. In fact, they have a higher performance within a very short duration for high intensity activities that could last up to a maximum of two minutes.

There are two main types of anaerobic exercise: isotonic and isometric. Basically, isotonic muscles are used to strengthen them, such as weightlifting or resistance training.

They are highly recommended if you want to have tone, strengthen muscles, stronger bones and prevent injuries. On the other hand, isometric exercise involves contracting your muscles against a resistance without any movement. A good example is when you lift an object, such as a dumbbell.
