Are you afraid of your reflection?

Fear of mirrors is a condition known as eisopotophobia. This condition consists of a state of atypical anxiety that is related to the image itself reflected in the object, in other words, people are afraid of what they can see in the mirror.

Those who suffer from eisoprophobia recognize that it is irrational to think that they can see supernatural things through the mirror, but they are not able to avoid the fear they feel.

On the other hand, cataphophobia it is the fear of mirrors as objects, and not so much because of the image that is reflected in them.

These types of phobias are very rare and vary greatly from person to person. But in both cases the symptoms that characterize these conditions range from repulsion to mirrors to severe panic attacks.
