Lara Monroy, Coordinator of Medical Programs of the IMSS, affirms that sedentary lifestyle is a habit that causes severe diseases such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular and emotional problems and degenerative diseases, such as cancer:

"The person is required to exercise 40 to 60 minutes a day, but if the intention is to reduce measures, you must perform high impact activities such as aerobics, weights or cardiovascular exercise."

Aerobic exercise  

According to the health specialist, if what is intended is lose weight and reduce the percentage of muscle mass, ideally, people do aerobic work:

"For example, the spinning, bicycle, climber or treadmill, are ideal to achieve this, since the intensity is greater and consequently there is a greater expenditure of energy".

Lara Monroy recommends burn more calories of those who ingest and control the consumption of carbohydrates, especially simple ones, such as refined sugar found in sweets, breads, cakes and chocolates.
