Have you ever gone to the sauna? This Finnish practice not only helps you to purify your body, but also has other benefits, such as preventing the development of heart attacks or heart disease.

According to a study of the University of Kuopio , people who visit the sauna often reduce the risk of suffering cardiovascular diseases .

 

"Those who go to the sauna daily have a 63% lower risk than those who visit it once a week," the authors explain.

The time you spend in the sauna also influences your health. If you spend more than 19 minutes in this, you have a 52% lower risk of sudden death than those who enjoy it for less than 11 minutes.

The cardiovascular diseases they are the first cause of death in Mexico and it is predicted that in 2050, 32.4 million older adults with this health problem.
