Overcome the kidnapping!

Based on information from National Public Security System (SNSP), reports of kidnapping in Mexico increased 11.2% between January and February 2014, that is, approximately five kidnappings per day so far this year.

In total, 330 people registered in the first two months of the year kidnapped . It even stands out that Tamaulipas, Michoacán, State of Mexico, Morelos, Tabasco, Veracruz and Guerrero are the states with the most kidnappings.

Overcome the kidnapping!

There are three types of kidnappings: the traditional (deprived of freedom to obtain an economic benefit), express (the person is held for a few hours to obtain money) and the virtual (through extortion, people are deceived so that pay a ransom for a person who has not been deprived of his freedom .

This illegal deprivation of freedom , in any of its three types, leaves physical, emotional and financial damages to both the victim and his family, but how can a kidnapping be overcome?

After the rescue of a victim, a medical and psychological examination must be done. According to the doctor Alejandro Campos, researcher at the Faculty of Psychology of the Benemérita Autonomous University of Puebla , a person who lived a kidnapping will face problems like nightmares, constant memories and feeling of persecution.

Some tips to overcome the kidnapping is to accept emotions such as post-traumatic stress, fear and obsession, as well as seek professional help with a psychologist or psychoanalyst, who will help you to externalize those feelings and heal them little by little.

Also, avoid searching explanations logical to what has been lived, resume your routine and set short-term goals, in this way you will recover the desire to live and enjoy life.
