To practice yoga, the most important thing is that you develop the desire and pleasure to introduce yourself in this discipline, which has multiple benefits for physical, mental and emotional health. And one of the keys to take advantage of them is that you do it in a space according to their different techniques or branches.

One of the foundations for the practice of traditional yoga, according to specialists of the Journal of Yoga & Physical Therapy, is that it is a space that has a peaceful, non-competitive atmosphere and in which there are special references but that are not an obstacle, to prevent injuries or accidents.

The practice of yoga is not determined by a single space, although it is always convenient to create a "sacred place", however, the different variants of the discipline have been merged so that it can be done in different environments, such as:

1. House . The most traditional space to create your sacred place is in your own home, because you can choose a place with adequate lighting, temperature and that is flat and quiet for your practice. In addition, it can be conditioned with emotional elements that go according to the person.

2. Study . An open space, but professional, is required for the practice of some types of yoga such as aerial yoga, because it is a mixture of traditional discipline poses with acrobatics in a silk hammock hung from the ceiling, so they must be carefully placed.

3. Gym . One of the most dynamic and fun versions of the traditional discipline is power yoga, because it involves variations in intensity, postures and movements that have the purpose not only to balance energy, but to use it for physical conditioning, so that a space like the gym is ideal to practice it.

4. Open spaces . Apart from traditional serenity and meditation, tantrum yoga allows the release of energy accumulated in the body through physical manifestations, such as accelerated body movements and screaming. This type of therapeutic yoga is very effective to release emotions related to stress and other fears or anxiety, through explosions of energy from within, so that their practice gets used to the outside, but private.

5. Pool or pool . Many of the yoga postures are adaptable to the pool, especially when using the wall as if it were the floor, so the practice of water yoga or aqua yoga allows the therapeutic work of the body, as well as strengthening and relaxation, thanks to hot or thermal water where it is recommended to practice it.

To practice yoga you can approach specialized centers, academies or schools, and sports centers, among others, as well as in private and own places, the most important thing to consider is that before carrying it out advisors with expert instructors in this discipline, in order to avoid complications.
