Flexibility is adapting

The flexibility it helps us to improve our quality of life , to grow as people and adapt to unforeseen situations, but,How can we be more flexible people? , especially when we lose control of situations or what we plan went wrong.

In accordance with Jenny Moix, professor of psychology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona , flexibility is the ability to put yourself in the eyes of our interlocutor, to have openness.


Flexibility is adapting

But be flexible it does not mean giving in to everything or being submissive, it implies adapt to unpredictable situations, adjust to what people think, feel and are. It also means coupling to changing conditions.

Being flexible we keep our point of view, but at the same time we recognize that others have theirs and we do not seek to change their approach. Nor do we always give the reason to the other.

Analyze your attitude

1. Calm Take time before giving a yes or no.

2. Respect. The feeling and thinking of others, as well as the rules without being condescending.

3. Open up Do new things, look for other experiences and listen to different ideas.

4. Delegate. Surprise yourself with what others can achieve for you.

5. Trust. There are multiple ways to do things well, not necessarily as you expect.

Science itself has confirmed that the species that achieve adapt they survive. This applies to our life, being flexible we will be emotionally plus stable , we will learn to hear already observe with attention to take the best of each situation and discard what is not convenient.
