Rita Guerrero lost the battle against breast cancer

On Friday, March 11, 2011, he died Rita Guerrero (ex-vocalist of the musical group Santa Sabina), at 46 years of age. The death of the artist was due to breast cancer that was diagnosed in January 2010.

Since her diagnosis Rita Guerrero underwent chemotherapy and various treatments allopathic medicine ; However, it did not have the expected results and decided to redouble its efforts based on alternative medicine.

The singer was always in contact with her fans by means of his Facebook account and thanked all the support received by them and some others music professionals , since he made public his bad state of health.

The rocker was veiled in the University of the Cloister of Sor Juana in Mexico City, of which she was the choir director for several years.

It should be remembered that it was in 1987, during a student strike, that Rita met the musicians with whom she would form Santa Sabina. An emblematic group of Mexican and Latin American rock in the 90s that never lost the essence of the underground.
