Exercise helps men with diabetes

Do exercise regularly could help men suffering from type II diabetes and obstructive sleep apnea, according to a study presented at the annual meeting of The Endocrine Society, in the city of Boston, United States.

The resistance generated by the physical activity can significantly trigger the rates of survival in men under these conditions. The results of the investigation are relevant due to the increase in cases of sleep disorders , which commonly occur in people with diabetes and high pressure .

"Recent studies suggest that patients with sleep apnea have a highest risk of dying for any reason compared to individuals who do not have apnea, "said the co-author of the study, Dr. Skikha Khosla , endocrinologist at George Washington University.

It has already been mentioned in subsequent studies on benefit of the exercise regular to decrease the Death risk in patients with type 2 diabetes. This new research found that there is a similar link in men suffering from obstructive sleep apnea, a condition that interrupts breathing during the sleep cycle .
