4 carrots

2 potatoes

1 bay leaf

½ L of water or vegetable broth

1 pinch of cinnamon

Lemon zest



1) Boil the water or broth with 1 bay leaf while you peel and cut the potatoes.

2) When you are ready, add the potatoes.

3) Clean and cut the carrots into pieces so they cook more quickly

4) Add the carrots to the broth and boil for 10 min.

5) Remove the bay leaf and liquefy the "cream" until it is smooth.

6) Add a pinch of cinnamon and salt if necessary.

7) Continue cooking for another 5 minutes mixing to prevent the cream from sticking.

8) At the time of serving, add a pinch of lemon zest.

It can be served warm or cold with whole croutons (½ cup).
