Lorenzo Silva Melchor , member of the FEC and cardiologist of the Coronary Unit of the Puerta de Hierro University Hospital in Madrid, said: "Sleeping unintentionally active metabolic and endocrine factors harmful to health, but rest more hours than recommended can be related to disturbances and quality of sleep that affect alterations of cardiovascular parameters ".
