Test to detect allergy

According to the Center of Foniatria and audiology, an allergy occurs when the immune system suffers an exaggerated reaction, caused by an allergen, which is something that normally does not generate any reaction, such as dust, pollen, mold, drugs and contact with animals.

The immune system when registering the presence of the allergen produces IgE type antibodies, which generates symptoms such as nasal secretions, sneezing , hoarseness, watery eyes, respiratory difficulty of asthma, among others.

In an interview for GetQoralHealth , the doctor Jorge Iván Rodríguez, explains the characteristics of asthma:

Next, we present an allergy test, that is, to identify if your body responds to an allergen, you just have to answer yes or no to the questions:

  1. Do you have headache ?
  2. Do you suffer from sneezing frequent?
  3. Have you felt any breathing difficulties?
  4. Do you have hoarseness?
  5. Did you come out rash without any explanation?
  6. Do you have stomach pain?
  7. Have you had teary eyes?
  8. Do you have a persistent cough?
  9. Do you have diarrhea or constipation ?
  10. Have you registered recurrent ear pain?
  11. Have not you improved on a cold ?

If you have answered affirmatively to one or more questions, you may be suffering from a allergy . So do not hesitate to visit your trusted doctor, so he can diagnose you and send you an appropriate treatment.

It is better to identify and send a treatment for the allergy as soon as possible. Although most of the these appear before the age of 20, can develop at any age and almost never give up over time.

The allergies specific ones are not inherited, but the possibility that they develop is greater if family members suffer them.

The first control step for the allergy is to fill out a family clinical history, including data such as occupation or school, environment, hobbies and personal habits.

An adequate treatment for allergy is to avoid contact with allergens, medications or immunotherapy (vaccine that increase the body's tolerance to allergens). Remember that this condition does not cure; however, the doctor may prescribe some method to reduce or control the symptoms.
