Relationship between parents and children, factor of importance

Much of the drug addiction, including its causes, are complex and are not yet completely clear. A large number of factors are responsible for contributing to the training of an addict. These include the environment, the biochemical reactions in the brain and the inheritance. In the midst of all this, there is no denying that drug addiction causes severe damage to the body and that the problem is difficult to cope with.

The pressure of the groups and the easy availability of drugs are two factors that contribute to the problem of experimentation and participation with drugs, as well as the relationship between parents and children.

If asked for advice on drug use, most parents will warn them safely about the dangers. However, often, their advice will be contrary to the examples they demonstrate. For example, the medicine kit at home contains many pills and capsules. This is a clear indication of your tolerance for chemicals. While your children believe that there is nothing wrong with it and proceed to use or experiment with them.

The relationship between parents and children is a determining factor when the son has developed an antagonism against their parents. In its milder form, this attitude is part of the normal process of "liberation" of the parents. When the attitude is extreme, however, the child will do things that he knows his parents would oppose.

For example, the child will find ways to experiment with drugs even if they have repeatedly warned against it or have prohibited use them He feels proud of his approach to being an adult and does these things to show his independence.

Good judgment and sensitivity are necessary

When it comes to dealing with a teenage son, parents need very good judgment and a lot of tact. They should give each other adequate time to be with their children. They should demonstrate major interest in the activities of your children and share them.

Parents should keep communication channels open. They should not find fault with their children's questions or comments, and respect their trust when they tell them about the practices of their friends and classmates. Parents, too, must encourage them to exercise a healthy influence on your friends.

Instead of annoying them, parents should give their children real information about the effects and dangers of addictions. By their own example, they should indicate the advantages of a better way of living . An ideal relationship between parents and children is where they demonstrate love and goodwill towards their children and they respond in a way that corresponds to their parents.
