Connect with your vital center

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the vital center is the place where the body's energy reserves accumulate and it is located below the navel, at a point called also which coincides with the body's center of gravity.

That's why I GetQoralHealth presents you three exercises to take care of your vital energy, increase your body awareness and improve your balance.

 
1.- If you work sitting, when you need to rest from the intellectual effort and stretch the muscles s, you can take advantage to exercise balance and your center of gravity. Sit with your back straight, without leaning on the back and with your arms crossed. Stand up and sit down again without using your arms.

Repeat the exercise three times and, in successive days, increase until you reach ten. It is a particularly recommended practice if you suffer from a tendency to get dizzy when getting up after having been crouched.

2.- Walk with one foot behind another (type "chicken-hen") as a tightrope walker would do on a tightrope. To achieve this, concentrate on the vertical line that the body must trace from head to toe.

Exercise is best done on a firm surface, without carpet or mat, and by contracting the stomach muscles. Walk at least three meters and repeat it two or three times a day.

3.- Take steps to the sides. In front of a wall, take a step to the side with one leg and then bring the other foot closer. Do it 10 times to the right and 10 to the left.
