According to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) , through his analysis "Mechanisms of inheritance" , indicate that the color of the human eye, as well as the tone of our skin, is determined by polygenic inheritance.

The tonalities in the color of eyes are the consequence of a deposit of pigments, in such a way that the reflected light makes the iris look blue, green, gray or brown.

What color?

Recent research of the University of Charles in Prague, they reveal that the color of the eyes can determine how reliable you are.

Brown eyes. It is the color that inspires more confidence, even more than the green or blue eyes; However, brown eyes also tend to belong to people with a wider face, which influences the feeling of the closest and most kind people. For both sexes, brown eyes are the ones that inspire the most confidence.

Green and blue eyes. The advantage of having any of these colors in your eyes is, according to the Medicine School of the University of Colorado and published in Nature Genetic , that people are less prone to vitiligio, an autoimmune disease that manifests itself with spots on the skin and hair.

Regarding the degree of confidence, it was found that people with this type of color in their eyes are safe, but do not inspire so much openness, or confidence.

The face as a whole. Unlike women in whom the contour of the face did not determine to be a factor to inspire confidence, in men a round face, large mouth and prominent chin indicates to be perceived as a more reliable person.

The way in which the results of this investigation were evaluated was presenting a series of photographs to the participants. The images were of identical men and women, but with only one variant: the color of the eyes, so the researchers concluded that the brown or brown eyes are the ones that inspire the most confidence.
