Walking detects risk of dementia

The speed with which a person walks and the force that uses to close the fist of the hand, can be two indicators of risk to develop dementia or one disease cerebrovascular in the future.

For the test, the behavior of 2,400 men and women was analyzed, with an average age of 62 years; who underwent tests of walking speed, grip strength and cognitive functions.
