Natural birth and its relationship with the moon

Once again theNational Association of Instructors in Perinatal Psychoprofilaxis (ANIPP) and Mountain Psychoprofilaxis share with GetQoralHealth more specialized information on the issue of childbirth. This time the article is fromMariana Laguarda Ruiz . We invite you to read it carefully.

Actually, this is an absolutely empirical assessment, based on what some of my friends, instructors in psycho-prophylaxis, and I have observed about the influence of the moon on births.

In any phase of the moon you can find any type of births , some easier and others more difficult. However, the following tend to coincide:New Moon : during this phase of the moon, births They tend to be easy and very fast . They are the typical deliveries in which the woman arrives running with complete dilatation and does not allow time for her to take off her clothes to give birth. They usually come together 2 hours apart and both are physiological and with short explants. The membranes usually break themselves during labor. They are explosive births that do not give the mother time to reflect on what is happening.Fourth crescent: Maybe these are the most beautiful deliveries of the month . They are not as explosive as in the new moon, but dilation and advancement are usually consistent and give the mother time to integrate the fact that the baby will be born. Parthians are like book, where the phases of labor are expected and the mother can locate where it is standing, what to do and how much is needed to finish.full moon : is the phase of the moon where more births occur , the nurseries are usually full and the hospital staff (nurses and doctors on duty) are running. With this moon births can be physiological when the woman is near her due date of birth. However, it may happen that some births go ahead a bit and the moon "pulls" them, which causes us to start many births with premature ruptures of membranes and unfavorable neck conditions. This obviously causes the births to be prolonged and very laborious.Fourth quarter: there is usually few births . They are the typical little physiological births, very worked, in which the baby deflects the head or puts a little hand. You have to invest a lot of energy, have a lot of patience and not despair so that these babies are finally born. Even on those occasions when labor flows easily, things often happen : The father comes running and does not arrive or almost does not arrive, the baby has a cord a bit shorter than usual, the placenta takes time to leave, etc.Black Moon: The black moon occurs one day before the new moon. Births in the black moon are usually the worst of the month . They are the longest and the most difficult. It is very complicated for the baby to be born. It is a day in which you have to be more careful than usual with the heart rate and you have to closely monitor births so that things do not get complicated. You have to clarify, that at any stage from the moon the birth can be as beautiful as in any other. Our attitude, our patience, our tolerance and our decisions are still the most important.LCCE.
