How to achieve your goals

It's amazing the number of distractions we have daily. A distraction can be defined as any external or internal agent that deviates from your specific objectives , whether personal and / or professional.

If what you are doing at a certain moment does not add value to your purposes, then it is a distraction . Of course your goals often involve a person or very likely a group of individuals with whom you are living or collaborating, but the action is always in you.

There are two options : either you are focusing or you are distracting.

To make sure you are focusing, follow these two simple steps: 1) Make sure you are clear about what you are looking for in your life, work and / or project. 2) Invests most of the time in these priorities.

Sounds simple, right? It is a principle that is very easy to understand and sometimes very challenging to apply. Sometimes I realize that I spend too much time on the internet reading information that does not have as much to do with my priorities. Something that has helped me to focus is to block my time in order to focus on priorities. If it is scheduled in the calendar, I treat it as the most important appointment.

What is it that most distracts you and what is your strategy to keep your specific goal ? Remember that we are a moment. We have to live in the here and now; get more out of our time and our life.
