Chronic degenerative disease, diabetes is caused by the resistance, decrease (or both) of the insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas to control blood sugar. And according to the National Survey of Health and Nutrition , this disease is among the leading causes of death in Mexico.

Likewise, the states with the highest prevalence are: Federal District, Nuevo León, Veracruz, Tamaulipas, Durango and San Luis Potosí.

 

Be careful with your actions!

However, although a large percentage of the population suffers from diabetes, few know what actions are not carried out to have this disease. Here we tell you some of them, with information from the National Diabetes Information Clearinghouse.

1. Do not follow the food plan prepared by the doctor.

2. Do not do 30 minutes of physical activity up to date.

3. Do not take the prescribed medication.

4. Do not keep track of your glucose levels.

5. Lack of observation in your feet. This should be done daily to see if there are cuts, blisters, sores, swelling or redness.

6. Absence of oral hygiene

7. Smoke.

8. High blood pressure or cholesterol.

According to a study presented by the magazine Science Translational Medicine Keeping a job at night can cause drowsiness, but also increase the chances of developing diabetes. Remember that your health is in your hands.
