3 yoga postures to achieve your flexibility

Flexibility is the ability of the muscles to stretch when a joint moves. The more you exercise this skill, the more dominion you will have over your body and the movements that you make with it, but how to achieve it? The answer may be the yoga postures.

Ancestral exercise, yoga allows you to obtain a balance between your mind and body. To get it, GetQoralHealth in collaboration with Ana Paula Domínguez, director of Mexican Institute of Yoga , they present you with the following video with an asana to improve your flexibility. Chek out!

To strengthen the results of this asana, you can combine it with the following yoga postures:

1. Push to the sides . In the simple posture, put your hands behind your neck with your fingers interlaced and bend your back to the side keeping it straight, directing your elbow towards the floor next to the hip. Inhale when flexing to the left, exhale when flexing to the right. You should not arch or bend your back. Flex only to the sides.

2. Cat. Stand on your hands and knees. Inhale as you flex your spine down and raise your head. Exhale while arcing the column with the head down. Keep your arms stretched.

3. Lifting exercise . Lie on your back and relax for a moment. Then bend the knees and bring the heels towards the buttocks, keeping the feet flat on the floor.

Grab the ankles, and holding on to them, slowly raise the hips, arching the lower part of the column and raising the navel to the sky. As you raise your hips, inhale slowly through your nose.

Hold your breath as you stretch up, lifting as much as you can comfortably, then slowly relax your posture down while exhaling through your nose.

Doing these yoga postures will allow you not only to acquire flexibility but also to maintain your weight. Have fun and exercise!
