Zero kilos

One of the most frequently asked questions of people when they are dieting isthe beer makes you fat ? For this reason, at GetQoralHealth we give you all the scientific arguments to clarify this myth about this drink.

Zero kilos

A study published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, noted that the increase in body mass that could be seen in beer consumers, is not really due to beer but to other factors, such as an inadequate lifestyle, habits, incorrect feeding or the influence of genetic factors.

Other research, from Official College of Physicians of Asturias (COMAST) , reveals that the moderate consumption of beer, (up to half a liter daily), associated with a balanced diet, does not imply risk of overweight or obesity.

In fact, the Spanish Society of Dietetics and Food Sciences ensures that beer consumption not only does not make you fat, but that it has positive effects for your health. This is because beer is a healthy food, made from 100% natural ingredients such as water, barley and hops.

In addition, it has important nutritional properties, is rich in folic acid, proteins, minerals such as potassium, sodium, silicon and phosphorus, while containing B vitamins, folates and polyphenols.

This means that you can drink between 2 and 3 beers of 330 milliliters a day, in the case of men and between 1 and 2 beers in the case of women.

Remember that the key is to avoid excess. Take care of your health and figure!
