Eat early and lose weight

According to a study conducted by the University of Murcia, Spain, in collaboration with researchers from Harvard and Tufts , of the United States, the time you eat your food influences your goal of losing weight.

In a statement issued by the University of Murcia It is detailed that people who eat before three in the afternoon register a greater weight loss than those who eat their food after that time.

Marta Garaulet, Professor of Physiology from that house of studies and leader of the research published in the magazine International Journal of Obesity, details that the breakfast or dinner schedule does not influence this weight loss.

The researcher details that the eating habits of 420 overweight people were analyzed, who followed a Mediterranean diet for 20 weeks.

The participants were divided into two groups: those who ate before three in the afternoon and others who ate the food later.

After 20 weeks we analyzed the weights, caloric intake, energy expenditure, appetite hormones and the duration of sleep of each person.

With this analysis, the scientists determine that those who ate earlier lost more weight (12%) than those who ate after three in the afternoon (8%).

With this, researchers confirm that by controlling meal times, the goals of a dietary plan to lose weight are more effective.

Therefore, if you want to keep a slim figure, the Kellog's Institute of Nutrition and Health recommends eating a balanced diet, establishing meal times, having adequate hydration, increasing fiber intake and doing physical activity for 30 minutes a day. And you, what time do you usually eat?
