A rich way to prevent cardiovascular diseases is with foods that help you reduce cholesterol and improve your blood circulation like tuna, which is rich in calcium, vitamins A, B and D, proteins, as well as Omega 3 acids .

According to information published in The Huffington Post , all these nutrients benefit your health, since in addition to protecting you from cardiovascular diseases , reduces the risk of cerebral thrombosis, increases the elasticity of the arteries, promotes brain functions and strengthens your memory.

 

Enjoy a rich low calorie snack

Ingredients

  1. Five cans of tuna in water
  2. 300 grams of half cream
  3. A small can of chipotle chilies
  4. A small can of corn kernels
  5. A box of crackers

Preparation

Open and drain the water from the cans. Separate the tuna in a slightly deep dish. Add the corn kernels. Reservation.

Blend the half cream with the chipotle pepper. Empty the mixture over the tuna and corn and stir until all the ingredients are incorporated. Serve and accompany with wholemeal crackers. You can garnish with some slices of tomato or lettuce leaves.
