Introspection vs. attachment

Whether a relationship ended, a loved one passed away or a long-term job was over, the feeling of loss and the emptiness it entails is very profound. How difficult it is to flow and forget about addiction ! To achieve this, we must develop tools that allow us to travel through the world of losses with integrity, in order to emerge strengthened, with wisdom and compassion.

There is something definitive and permanent: change, which is hard to accept. That's why it's so hard to let go and let someone or something go. Precisely, attachment is the root of our suffering, because we cling to things, people, relationships and situations, that is, we leave open cycles that cause pain.

The introspection is a very useful tool to overcome losses and eliminate theaddiction . Through this the reality principle is accepted and people open themselves to the new.

There are three fundamental authors that help to understand the necessary attitude in the art of letting go of attachment: Sogyal Rinpoche, teacher of Tibetan Buddhism, Carlos Castaneda Y the teachings of Don Juan, and the wisdom of Elizabeth Kübler-Ross, to understand their approaches. They recognize the importance of using introspection to recognize and let go of what no longer suits us, say goodbye and live the duel with greater wisdom and compassion, to create greater internal peace within the process of detachment.

We must also recognize the great importance of cutting the energetic ties that unite us with those we must let go. It is necessary to make a trip to the center of our pains, in the light of a series of new paradigms to return with a different frame.

We have to change approaches and beliefs, understand loss and death in a different way than we have handled so far. I leave you with this phrase of Tibetan wisdom: "The size of your pain is the size of your attachment" . Let go, flow, let go of what life tells you to do ... It will be for the best.
