The singer and composerJoan Sebastian passed away today at 64 years of age.
 

This afternoon, Televisa News confirmed the death of the original composer of Juliantla. The singer lost his life on his ranch at 7:30 pm, due to the bone cancer I suffered.

Last April it was reported that Joan Sebastian had been hospitalized in Puebla because he was trying a new drug to attack the cancer he has been suffering for 16 years.

Cancer in the bones

The "King of Jaripeo" defeated the disease 3 times, since his first diagnosis in 1999.

The bone cancer is a malignant bone tumor that destroys normal bone tissue, describes the National Cancer Institute of Europe ; tumors of benign or non-cancerous bones are more common than malignant ones.

Both bone tumors can grow and compress healthy bone tissue, but benign tumors do not spread, do not destroy bone tissue and rarely put life in danger.

On the other hand according to the National Cancer Institute of the United States , bone cancer may reappear after treatment, as is the case of Joan Sebastian, who faced him for the fourth time (1999, 2007, 2012 and 2015)
