Say yes to complex carbohydrates

The carbohydrates , just like any other food, such as proteins or fats , are necessary for the proper functioning of the organism. However, you should prefer the complex carbohydrates to the simple ones, since these will not cause you to gain weight.

The expert in health and sports matter, Dr. Jorge Lara indicates that carbohydrates are necessary for the body to be active and alert, but should be consumed in moderation:

"Complex carbohydrates are honey, potatoes, pasta and whole grains. This type of food, if consumed in a moderate way, will not make you gain weight. "

Goodbye to refined sugar  

However, Dr. Lara states that simple carbohydrates such as refined sugar, found in breads, soft drinks and chocolates are products that should be limited.
