Prevention measures for influenza AH1N1

Although the virus of the Influenza AH1N1 is controlled in Mexico, it is important to know what is to be done, to prevent this epidemic from appearing again. In this sense, the Ssa gives the following recommendations:

1. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, preferably liquid.

2. Cover your mouth when you cough and sneeze with a disposable tissue with the inside angle of your elbow.

3. Do not forget to throw away the handkerchief in a plastic bag immediately; Once you do this, wash your hands again.

4. If you are sick, do not greet people with kisses or hands.

5. It is recommended that you rest and avoid going to crowded places such as cinemas, theaters, restaurants, etc.

6. Do not share glasses, utensils or food with other people.

7. Do not spit on the ground.

 Common symptoms of influenza

Remember that if you present the following symptoms, you should go quickly to your doctor, to rule out any disease:

1. High fever2. Cough3. Headache4. Runny nose5. Muscle and joint pain6. Fatigue7. Diarrhea8. Difficulty breathing9. Chest pain10. Blobs with blood11. Confusion or drowsiness
