Sanofi will launch drug vs. prostate cancer

In order to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from prostate cancer , the company Sanofi announced that soon a drug will be released to reverse the ailments of those suffering from this disease, and "promises" that they will improve their quality of life.

About, Andrés Cevallos , communication manager of the company in Mexico, said that during the first quarter of 2012 a drug will be released to treat this type of Cancer, which is the second most common cause of death from cancer in men older than 60 years.

In this sense, Cevallos clarified that they are only waiting for the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris), approve the release of the drug so that it begins to be commercialized in the country.

On the other hand, Cevallo announced a strategic alliance with the Mexican Diabetes Federation , as a framework for the world day of this disease, which is commemorated on November 14:

"During that month we will carry out free diagnostics and different tests to help people know if they have diabetes, or if they are at risk of developing this condition."

The idea of ​​this agreement is to generate social awareness, so that people learn to take care of themselves, improve their eating habits, lifestyle and, therefore, do not be afraid to weigh themselves, measure their blood pressure and levels of glucose in the blood.
