Have fun and stimulate creativity

How to stimulate the creativity of your children? A good option to achieve this is through competitions that promote communication, originality, happiness, well-being and health, as the so-called "Drawing smiles".

With this contest, organized by the Cenaprece and the sub-directorate of Oral Health and the General Directorate of Health Promotion in coordination with the Mexican Dental Association (ADM) , it is intended to spread care to maintain a healthy mouth.

The institutions detail that with this type of activities it is expected to promote the importance of oral health care among primary school children in a fun and stimulating way.

If you want to participate in "Drawing Smiles" you must draw a drawing that includes oral health and healthy smiles, that is, reflecting well-being, joy and smiles, as well as some techniques to take care of your teeth.

The contest has three categories: First and second primary; third and fourth grade of primary school; as well as fifth and sixth grade of primary. You can participate all schools that serve the health sector, as well as children who are between six and 12 years old, living in Mexico.

To encourage you to stimulate your creativity, the prizes that will be awarded to the first place in each of the categories of the contest are:

1. A backpack with materials to draw and a printed document about oral health.
2. A mini computer
3. A mini computer for the teachers of the winning children
4. A trip to the headquarters of the national event, with a companion

The award ceremony will be held within the framework of the inauguration of the Second National Week of Oral Health 2013, so the winners will receive their prize in La Paz Baja California.

Remember that September 18 is the deadline to receive the drawings in elementary schools or health centers or you can send your creation to Cenaprece or to the ADM from October 14 to 18. And you, do you dare to stimulate the creativity of your children?
