In an interview for GetQoralHealth, psychologist María Montaño, specialist of the Patient Assistance Clinic of the Psychoanalytic Society of Mexico (SPM), It clarifies that a person is not sincere and that he usually conceals things is a natural process of his development, even from childhood.

"This ability to lie and self-deceive helps us to have an autonomy of thought and build self-esteem," says the specialist.

María Montaño explains that many of the "obstacles" that we have and that force us to not be sincere are related to failures in self-esteem or in what people think they should be; that is, in the fantasy of what should be both for her and to please others.

The first step that a person must take to be honest with herself and others is to analyze deeply and analyze the things they feel and who the public is to whom they want to please.

"When a person realizes and analyzes what prevents him from being sincere, he begins to see the closest reality and avoids the idealization of others and a part of himself", clarifies María Montaño.

"To the extent that we can see the most real and close things and we can live our most genuine relationships."

María Montaño recommends that if at any moment it is detected that this type of behavior is convulsive, that is, that can not stop lying or staying honest, it is best to go to a specialist to have an appropriate treatment and discover the obstacles that make relationships of these people.
