  1. Understand the ideal spaces to use it. It can be in the office or at school, that is, in the places where it is necessary to perform your tasks.
  2. Avoid phubbing. This practice isolates you from others, so forget about it at parties, social gatherings or when talking with someone, to resume human contact.
  3. Organize a technology-free vacation. There are hotels that invite you to leave technology aside, so you can enjoy your company and everything that is around you. This will help you relax, rest and think without being tied to technology.
  4. Concentrate on what you're doing. Understand that when other spaces are invaded it can be harmful. For example, when technology is overused in bed, the brain does not relax and causes insomnia.
  5. Encourage activities where technology is not used. Do exercise outdoors, play with your children or just take a walk on your block, go for a walk, but without having at hand anything that reminds you of technology.
  6. Create routines Define the specific moments in which you will use technology, for example, in the morning check your social networks and then forget about them or check your mail at a certain time.
  7. Alternative therapies. Disciplines such as yoga or meditation can help you detoxify yourself from technology and find yourself or clear your mind by encouraging introspection.

"It is important to emphasize that there is a time and place for everything; it tries to contact with what surrounds us without affecting other situations, that is to say, to use technology when necessary and leave it to enjoy our environment ", concludes Paola González.
