30 years after the discovery of AIDS

The retroviral drugs and the education of the people became the main weapons to attack the AIDS after 30 years of existence.

Unfortunately there is still no radical cure, but the number of infections is decreasing.

South Africa is the country with the most infections, around 5 and a half million people .

There were some mistakes in the past, but currently new treatments with antiretroviral drugs are saving lives.
