What to do?

Before the arrival of rain you probably like many people, dry clothes inside your house, but what you do not imagine are the consequences that could have on your health.

A study by the Mackintosh School of Architecture (Scotland) reveals that doing this practice can cause asthma, rhinitis or allergies because there are humidity levels inside the home.

At higher humidity, more spore formation, mold and dust mites will lodge in the clothes.

In the 100 homes studied, the presence of a spore linked to respiratory infections was highlighted.

When visiting the homes we found that they were drying their clothes in the living room or in their rooms. Some people had literally decorated the house with clothes to dry. But with just one load of washing machine, two liters of water will be emitted, "says Rosalie Menon, researcher.

What to do?

The researchers recommend resorting to the use of a dryer. In case of not having one, condition spaces for drying clothes or make them.

It seems silly but in the long run, taking this habit as something everyday, can cause a lot of discomfort for our body.
