Do you love?
April 2024
Nowadays, the promise of "love for life" tends to be fulfilled much less. More and more couples are looking to cancel their marriage after a few months of coexistence and realizing that they are not compatible .
A study published in the New York Times , performed by the psychologist Sonja Lyubomirsky , reveals that the momentum of the happiness of the newly married couple lasts the first two years, since later they return to look for a state of wellness prior to marriage.
Two out of every five marriages end in divorce , and according to a US investigation the main reasons are the lack of communication in 6.7% and the infidelity with 59.9%.
Divorce is present throughout the world without distinguishing the social characteristics of each population. The specialists of "Business Insider" present the statistics of the countries with the most divorces, and these are the ones that devastate the list:
1. Belgium: 71%
2. Portugal: 68%
3. Hungary: 67%
4. Czech Republic: 66%
5. Spain: 61%
6. Luxembourg: 60%
7. Estonia: 58%
8. Cuba: 56%
9. France: 55%
10. Lithuania: 53%
Mexico , on the other hand, is far below these statistics with a 15% incidence of divorce ; data from Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) they show that 99 thousand 509 separations were registered in 2012.
After studying different cultures and tribes, the anthropologist Helen Fisher found that couples tend to repeat a cycle: an initial stage of infatuation in which the priority is the contact sexual .
The second stage, which Fisher calls: affection, in which taking care of children is the goal of the partner . And the last one that ends in the separation .
The divorce is a situation that is reached when you do not learn to dialogue with your partner, the good news is that in many cases you can avoid it if you go to a specialist . Perhaps that is one of the reasons why Mexico does not appear in the first countries with the most divorces. What do you think?
