Stomach cancer, cause of death of the "India" Maria

Apparently stomach cancer won the battle to Maria Elena Velasco better known as "India Maria", who was 74 years old.

María Elena Velasco Fragoso was born in Puebla on December 17, 1940.

He played his roles next to actors like Eulalio González "Piporro" in Ruletero in full swing (1962) Y The king of the tomato (1963) ; Enrique Lucero in The bloody revolver (1964) ; and Fernando Soto "Butter" in The rights of children (1963) .

In 2014 he reappeared after an absence of 15 years, to promote his latest film: The daughter of Moctezuma .
