Effective healing properties of bougainvillea against cough

This plant receives wide use in the states of the center and south of the Mexican territory, mainly in cases of respiratory affections such as cough, asthma, bronchitis, influenza and whooping cough; For its treatment the flowers and bracts (foliaceous organ) are used, its preparation is in cooking, which is administered orally.

For these cases it is recommended to take it hot three times a day for 72 hours. Suspend the treatment for a week and repeat it until you feel better. For the same purpose, the infusion of the Buganvilia with other plants such as tulip, orange, cinnamon and thyme is recommended to be used as drinking water. In other cases, this shrub has been effective to treat children's rash, stomach pain, rust and acne.
