10 tips to exercise in the office

The Mexican Foundation for Liver Health (FundHepa), it gives you 10 recommendations to do some physical activity in your place of work and with this contribute to having a liver healthy, to enjoy a good quality of life.

1. Walk to your workplace


2. Use the stairs instead of the elevator


3. Get up for what you need: errands, copies, paper, etc.


4. Squeeze an object between your hands to exercise your muscles


5. Change position every 20 minutes


6. Walk while talking on the phone


7. Keep standing meetings


8. Distribute your workspace so that you have freedom of movement


9. If you spend a lot of time sitting, try to keep your back straight, stretch your legs, exercise with your shoulders and neck; raise the knees and contract the abdomen a few seconds


10. Create a group of colleagues to exercise or practice some sport

The FundHepa clarifies that it is better to eat 5 times a day, in small portions, than to make one or two hearty and heavy meals. Ideally, you should drink 2 liters of natural water every day, vegetables, fruits, as well as lean meat, fish, nuts and semi-skim milk products.
